GREEN SMOOTHIE RECIPE

One of my go-to's when it comes to healthy diets is the use of healthy smoothies. When making use of the right ingredients, smoothies are an easy way to get all of the needed vegetables and fruits into your system and make you feel re-energized. Today's smoothie recipe: green spinach smoothie.
The Green Spinach Smoothie is one of my favorite smoothies. Like most people, I'm not a big fan of the taste of raw spinach. However, spinach, especially when eaten raw, consists of a bunch of vitamins and minerals that help you stay in shape and healthy and provide a lot of energy. When blending the raw spinach with some fruits and other ingredients, the taste becomes a lot more bearable, sometimes even very tasty. It's a great option for both breakfast or lunch, whatever you prefer. So let's get to it and make one!

The ingredients in this example are for 2 portions, however you can scale up depending on the amount of portions you want to make.
150 grams of raw, washed spinach
200 ml water
200 ml of low-fat yoghurt
30 grams of oatmeal
Blend all of the ingredients for about 45 seconds (or however long your blender needs) and you're good to go. It only takes around 5 minutes to make the smoothie, so it's very quick as well. You can add some ice cubes, because I personally think the smoothie tastes a lot better when it's served cold. An extra tip would be to drink it with a straw. This makes it easier to drink and also makes me feel like I bought a nice smoothie from a smoothie shop, haha. When using a straw, make sure to use a paper straw, since plastic straws are not sustainable.
The Green Spinach Smoothie is easily made, it only takes about 5 minutes, and is very healthy. It makes you feel re-energized and provides you with a lot of energy. Not only is it healthy, it's also very tasty. So try one yourself and enjoy!
